Set up prizes for your pool

Prizes let players see what they're competing for right on your pool's public page, and once your tournament wraps up, Trofeo shows who won each one automatically.

Adding prizes

Before your tournament is decided, add prizes from your pool's settings. For each prize you can set:

  • Position - where it ranks (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and so on). Position 1 gets a highlighted style on the public page so it stands out from the rest.
  • Title - what the prize is (for example, "Gift card" or "Trophy").
  • Description (optional) - extra detail about the prize.
  • Value (optional) - a dollar amount or other value to display alongside the title.
  • Sponsor (optional) - shown as "Sponsored by" underneath the prize.
  • Emoji (optional) - an icon for the prize card. If you skip this, Trofeo assigns a default icon based on the prize's position.

Once you've added at least one prize, players see a "What's at stake" section on your pool's page, listing every prize sorted by position, with a count of how many prizes are up for grabs. The top prize is visually called out with a highlighted border, so players know what's on the line before results come in.

Announcing winners

You don't need to do anything to announce winners. Once your tournament is settled, the same section on your pool's page automatically switches its heading from "What's at stake" to "Winners," and each prize card now shows the participant who won it, along with their total points.

If you have more prizes than participants, any leftover prizes are labeled "Unclaimed" instead of showing a winner. This happens automatically based on your final standings, so you don't have to manually assign winners to prizes.
