Pick your weekly slate

Season-long pools (like an NFL or NBA pick'em) don't ask you to fill out one big bracket. Instead, you make picks one week at a time, and each week locks on its own schedule.

Weekly picking

Open the pool and find the week's slate of games. Each game shows the two teams; depending on how the pool commissioner set things up, you'll either pick a winner or enter a predicted scoreline.

  1. For a winner pick, tap the team you think will win. The team button fills in and shows a checkmark.
  2. If the matchup allows a draw (soccer pools), tap Draw between the two teams instead.
  3. For a scoreline pool, enter the score you expect for each side in the two number boxes next to the matchup.
  4. To change your mind, tap a different team, or tap your current pick again to clear it.

Picks save on their own as soon as you make them, there's no separate submit button. If a save fails (for example, because the game already started), you'll see a message and your pick reverts to whatever was last saved.

Once a game is decided, its pick is shaded to show the result: a green border means the pick landed, a gold border means it missed. Scorelines get their own result badge showing whether you called the exact score, got the right side of the result, or missed.

Switching weeks

Use the week arrows (or the week tabs, depending on the pool) to move between weeks. You can jump ahead to a future week and lock in picks early, or look back at a week you've already played.

Each week has its own deadline. Right up until that week locks, you can keep changing your picks, switch away and come back, and they'll still be editable. Once the deadline passes, that week's games show a lock icon and the pick controls become disabled, so your picks for that week are final and the pool moves on to scoring it.

If a scoreline you were typing hasn't finished saving when you switch weeks, it's cancelled rather than posted against the wrong week, so double-check a scoreline saved before moving on if you were mid-edit.
