Create a Pool for a Tournament

To run a prediction pool for a tournament, create it from the Pools section of your dashboard.

Start the flow

1. In the navigation, go to My Pools.
2. Select Create Pool. You'll land on the pool setup screen.
3. Under Tournament, use the dropdown to pick the tournament you want to run a pool for. Only tournaments that are live or upcoming are listed (a tournament that's already finished won't show up, since there's nothing left to predict). Each option shows the tournament's name and its current status, so you can tell live and upcoming ones apart at a glance.

If you arrived here from a "Start a pool" link somewhere else in the product, that tournament is already selected for you.

Finish setup

1. Give the pool a name in the Pool name field. This is what your audience sees at the top of the pool, so make it something they'll recognize.
2. Choose what participants predict: Winner, Score, or Both. Some tournaments have this locked to a single option by the tournament organizer, in which case you won't see a choice here.
3. For bracket-style tournaments, also choose whether participants pick round by round as the tournament progresses, or fill in the full bracket upfront. Season-style tournaments (a weekly slate rather than a bracket) skip this choice entirely, since there's no bracket to fill in ahead of time.
4. Confirm your tier: your first pool in a workspace is free, for up to a set number of players. If you already have a pool, this one is an additional pool and needs a paid plan. You'll see a Choose a plan section listing player caps from 15 up to 10,000, each with its own one-time price. Pick the size you need; you can raise it later.
5. Click Create pool if it's your free pool, or Continue to payment if you selected a paid plan.

If you clicked Continue to payment, you're taken to checkout. Once payment succeeds, you're brought back and the pool is created. If you clicked Create pool, you're taken straight to the new pool's page, ready to invite participants.
